I don't think there is any difference.

I think I started the whole thing calling the LLT SLLT beacuse at the time mine was tune so low and and a very large box (35cft each tune to 11hz).

SLLT.super large low tune.
LLT large low tune.

I am thinking the SLLT is Structural Large and Low Tuned, whereby you build it into the structure of your home. Somewhat of a mix between IB and LLT. IB is built into the structure of your home, but not ported.

SLLT would be modeled the same as an LLT.

Guidelines are the same, the SLLT just uses an adjacent space as the enclosure as opposed to a free standing enclosure within the room itself. No difference in performance. If you want to use multiples of drivers, you're probably better off using an adjacent space as the enclosure, as enclosure volume will get pretty big.

Two 300l Sonotubes don't use much more floorspace than any other sub, really. Even my wife was surprised how unobtrusive they were. Go LLT! An SLLT will be pretty hard to move around, seeing as you need structural rearranging to do it..

Re: llt v sllt

An SLLT does not need to be moved around. I have dual LLTs but have no option of moving them in my room. That's why it is important to simulate room bass response before chosing either route.
