| Samson S Convert 220v AC adapter needed Hello, I live in Israel and since the S-Convert isn't sold here (no demand) I got my mother to buy it for me in the US. only problem is that the us version comes with a 110v AC adapter and I need the 220v version - so I went to the samson dealer who sells other samson "S" products which use the same adapter but they said they don't stock the AC adapter separately from samson products. I thought of using a generic 18v ac adapter, but I don't know how much current the original adapter produce (and 18v models are pretty expensive here) I've emailed samson us with no reply. Do you have any solutions for me ? Thanks ! | |||

| | Re: Samson S Convert 220v AC adapter needed If the 220v to 18v adaptor is not available seperately, another option would be a "travellers" adaptor, used for plugging in appliances from another country. You'll need the 220v to 110v adaptor, and then use the 18v adaptor supplied with your unit. Check your local electronics store or ask a travel acency where to find it in your country. We're all in this together! | |||

| Re: Samson S Convert 220v AC adapter needed I am sure you could just use a 18V adapter that is 220V. and that cant use much power at all. If the Samson UK distro does not have anything ask them amperage on the adapter and go out and get one that works. | |||

| Re: Samson S Convert 220v AC adapter needed I've contacted the UK dealer and they said they can't help me because the adapter they sell is a three pin model different then the one sold in europe. I'll try to contact a dealer somewhere in europe. | |||
