Sub help!!

Hi all,
As I am an abosolute beginner at all of this I will be asking a lot of dumb questions, so I hope you help me out! I have a 12" sub make name Goldy(I don't have any specs or info on it,I think it is either Japanese or Chinese). I want to connect it to my Onkyo TX-SR500E AV reciever. I also need to build a box for it. Can anyone do the impossible and help me out??????

In order to build a box for the Goldy sub we would need to know the T/S parameters of the sub. Since you don't have that information and a search for it turns up nothing, your options are to measure the sub yourself to find the parameters or buy a sub with known parameters. That being said, let's exhaust all possibilities of the Goldy sub first. Where did you buy this sub? In what country? Any links to any site on the internet that has any information?
