Anthony Gallo Tr-1 Subwoofer power supply modification

I purchased a Micro Ti 5.1 speaker system from Dubai with the Tr-1 Subwoofer. I would like to use this in the Toyota Innova car in India. I note that the power supply to the sub woofer is 230 V. If someone has done this before. Can I find a point within the power supply unit wherein I may be able to use the 12 V DC of the car. I could also dispense of the heavy power transformers inside. I understand that on opening, the warranties will not hold good. Even then I would like to do this modification. Request to provide some assistance to do this.

I'm not sure how you would convert 230V to 12V. I'm guessing it would be easier to use the sub with a 12V car audio amp.
