| TC-1000 work like the 2/3000? I was wondering, since I've seen several DIYers make small(ish) enclosures for their TC-2000/3000 drivers and EQing the lowering freq. and getting very good results, I was wondering, since I'm not at my computer ATM, how the 1000 would do in a small/smallish box. Or would it really need to be ported for substantial output because the xmax is too small for EQing a sealed design? I was thinking of the 15" by the way. (Is there any other way?) and how much of an increase would this be over my two 12" EHQS's? I'm assuming a large difference. You get what you pay for I suppose. | |||

| Re: TC-1000 work like the 2/3000? Well, the TC-1000 15" has a naturally highish Qtc in small sealed boxes, making for an underdamped alignment, and I guess it could use some more Xmax depending on what your EQ goals are. The Tc-1000 15" wouldn't be my first choice for a small sealed sub project for this reason. If you don't have a BFD for your sub, get one fast! If you don't have REW, get it now! | |||
