JL Audio W3v3

Hey Guys, has any one had any experiance with the new JL Audio Sub's ?? Stopped and checked one out at a local shop and they look really nice, The shop guy was claiming the 13" would out-perform
a 15" (which I don't believe) but the sub looks great, Sound Splinter or JL Audio.....Hmmmmmm.

There are very few 15s it would outperform. Any of the 15s typically used in home audio DIY would easily outperform the W3v3.

I thought JL's are fairly expensive too, right?

I remember the 12W6 v2 I used in my former truck... awesome sub, but pricey.

Ya the top of the line model is around a grand, the 13" I was looking at is $299, Im running a 12" in a sealed enclosure powered by the Onkyo plate amp and it does a fair job, (the sub is pretty ragged out).
I'm gonna stay commited to the 15" Sound Splinter, It just has everything you would need in a sub in my opinion, (unless I take home the 18" beast!!!!!)
