| Re: Real DIY When gold plated posts are under $7 at PE, it's not a very cost effective DIY endeavor, IMO. I can't imagine finding suitable raw materials for much less than that. And unless your time is worth absolutely nothing, you or I have just exceeded the PE costs in time spent typing. The only other reason for trying would be to increase performance at nearly the same cost. But, since posts are just pieces of conductive metal, I don't see this as a worthwhile scenario either. Technically, you could bypass the terminals entirely and wire straight from your amp to the drivers or xover. -Brent | |||
