finally got the subbies

ok all, finally bit the bullet and found a bit of a deal at Autobarn, picked up two 15" inch US Audio subs, both in their own carpeted enclosures. They sound pretty awsome, but they are as good with bassy music as they are with Pro logic sound tracks. After reading a lot on the forum, it appears you cant have both, i mean you either have good low frequency theatre bass or head banging music type bass. Because the two drivers have been fitted in induvidual boxes, (possibly too small as they are designed to fit in car boot, not a theatre room, i wonder what i could possibly gain in low end if i were to fit them in a single shared enclosure. The boxes they are in are sealed, so i would replicate this. The amp is feeding them 350 WRMS, shared. It appears to be giving them plenty. Any thoughts on this matter and is the sizing of the box all that important if they are sealed?

Re: finally got the subbies

Even sealed boxes require a proper sized enclosure. This is calculated using the T/S parameters of the drivers. WinISD Pro or Unibox are freeware programs that will do the heavy lifting for you, given the T/S parameters.

Not sure what you mean by the idea that you can't have low bass and musical bass at the same time. An accurate sub is simply reproducing the input signal.
