| any difference in mounting a Mal-X up vs down firing I know that the Mal -X can be mounted as a downfiring driver, like in a sonotube. What I dont know is if it makes a difference to mount it upfiring? I am gonna be building a shallow but tall/wide Mal-x +2PR box and am planning on using a NeoDan design i saw on here (or was it AVS?) that had 2 side firing PR's and a downfiring driver. i would just as soon have the driver upfiring and do without the legs the design has since its gonna be behind a screenwall anyhow. Any thoughts? the box is around 13Cuft | ||||

| Re: any difference in mounting a Mal-X up vs down firing There should be no difference as the amount of sag will be the same either way. See http://www.hometheatershack.com/foru...read-dual.html it has one up and one down. | ||||
