Thats fine, in any case I think Kevin should have all the business and I shouldn't take away from that. However, maybe one of you guys can help me with this thought: My room is pretty small, but I find having currently one Mal-X in a 24'' sealed cube is just not quite enough for me. Since size is a big factor I have considering using 2 Mal-Xs in two 22'' boxes instead. However, for the same price and perhaps in an even smaller package I could get 2 Tempest drivers and 4 PRs. How would this setup stack up? Am I just better off sticking with two Mal-X drivers or is there an equal alternative that might not take up as much room? BTW, IB is not an option. I do like the idea of having a couple of subs placed in opposite corners of the room as I think it would help out with any room nodes and 2 subs are always better than 1. Sound quality is very important, but I'm not even sure there would be that much of a difference between the Tempest and Mal-X besides just the displacement.

These A or B type of questions don't always have a simple answer. It depends on what you value. Kevin Haskins Exodus Audio
