Excellent. And would we be smart to get some foam padding or dampening material for the sides and around the port? Or is that a waste of time?

Looks good.... you can use a little fill or egg-crate. I typically just use polyfill, 10-15% in these types of builds. (16oz. per cubic foot = 100% fill) A lot of people like to use the egg-crate foam because they can glue it to all the enclosure surfaces. Nothing wrong with either approach.

Great stuff. Can I cut up an egg-crate foamy from WalMart and have it be suitable?

200 liters tuned to 18 hz looks good. The amp has a 3rd order HPF at 18 hz.

Hey Mike, do you think I should change the HPF on this HPSA 500W? Its stock at 18hz.....am I going to lose any lower end stuff by having that filter on there?

It's fine where it is for a 12 inch sub. You'll be impressed.

Cool, thanks. As long as I'm not missing anything I could "potentially" have, then I am usually happy with the limitations of the build.

Thanks Mike!

Hey Mike, was this with the "bass boost" applied on the amp or shut off? I've been fooling around with the PEq a bit and it seems to have a hufe effect.
