Exodus Audio Maelstrom-21" Giveaway

Qualifications

The qualification period is from November 1, 2009 until January 31, 2010... with the drawing being held the first week of February 2010!
Qualifying members must be registered by January 15, 2010 in order to qualify.

You must have a total post count of at least 10 posts in the forums.

Post in the Exodus Audio Maelstrom-21" Giveaway Qualification Thread that you would like to be entered into the drawing.

Winner will agree to start a build thread in the Exodus Audio forum within 90 days of delivery of the Maelstrom-21" driver.

Make sure your equipment is listed in the Home Theater Equipment forum.

Shipping will be taken care of for CONUS Lower 48 addresses, otherwise the winner will be responsible for shipping. Just remember... it is extremely heavy.

NOTE: Qualifying members must be registered by January 15, 2010 in order to qualify.

I am not sure how much clearer the qualifications can be... but first they have to be read!

I think we need to bump up the date for the drawing Sonnie. Otherwise everyone will be waiting to see if they won the free sub rather than buying one. ;-)

How about this... if you "win" the drawing, I'll refund your money if you have already purchased one.

That is very nice tempting offer Sonnie, but I have no room for 21” sub bass speaker I mean the enclosure would be a huge monstrosity and I already have one monstrosity that plays plenty loud enough.

How small an enclosure (relatively speaking) would still yield good performance with this beast? I'm thinking if I can design and build it as an end table I might be able to make it work.

Considering the number of people that have their systems listed in their signatures, it seems a bit redundant to require that systems be posted in a separate forum. Besides, whatever I list there will be wrong next week. Just sayin'....

My carpentry skills (dont really have the tools available to me) are lacking, I have no idea how I would go about building an enclosure for this. Plus I would have to buy an amp to drive it.

I suppose I could just put it on display in my theater room, That alone would turn heads
