I have a sony projection tv (kbf 55E2000) and have the weirdest issue of which is driving me crazy. I recently switched to FIOS service (this is one of 4 TV's) and now notice, on the HD channels mostly, an intermittent irregular "winking out" ioccurring where the screen reverts to a solid Kelly green screen. Similar to a computers' blue screen of death (only Kelly green). I have nothing else wired in and checked and re-checked the wiring, even went through the internal setting set ups again. All to no success. I do not experience this on the other HDTV's. What can I be missing?

Since moving (1 week now, finally have internet again), my new house will not have a dedicated theater for a while. Sadly, there is no good place for the projector to go (other than the unfinished basement). To complicate matters, the wife and I need separate TVs to keep our marriage intact :D

So we are looking for a 46" panel TV to go in our family room. Either above or beside the fireplace, with some viewing angles ~45 degrees or greater.

We liked what we saw of the Samsung LED TV's and Sears/Amazon/etc seem to have them on sale now. But upon research, I found the Sharp Aquos and Toshiba models to be favorabily reviewed, albeit thicker (but cheaper).

Any preferences, warnings, kudos, or other input? It's been a long time since I shopped for a display, so all help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Anthony

I inherited this TV from a previous tenant, so it didn't come with a manual (for that matter, it didn't come with a remote. I had to buy one). Anyhow, I can no longer afford to pay for Cable TV. I'm looking into antennas. I can't seem to figure out if I need a digital converter for this TV. Can someone hep me out here?

The model is: 43FDX01B

Thanks in advance.

Panasonic TC-L37S1 1080p LCD or what?

We are fixing up our daughters TV room (running her out of that room) with fitness room. We have been a member of a local gym for over 18 months now and it is getting ridiculously nasty. They are not keeping it clean nor maintaining the equipment, so we are doing our own thing at home. Therefore, the big 61" LED DLP has got to go and will be replaced by a smaller LCD set. We figure 37" will be big enough... and we don't want to spend the farm... this is for a fitness room... mostly watching/listening to news very early in the morning.

Currently looking at the Panasonic TC-L37S1 via ebay. We will actually buy a pair of these, one for the fitness room and one for our daughters bedroom, since she will no longer have her nice TV room with the 61" set. The price comes out to be $579 shipped for each set... and we get 8% cashback right now... net $532 each. Seems reasonable, but thought I would see if anyone else had any other suggestions. No biggie, just checking.

Well, it's time for a new screen. I thoroughly research my option before making a purchase. I was curious if anybody has suggestion. I know questions like this usually irritate but, I'm also want tips on features I may not think of like netflix integration is just awesome on the "insert brand here" sets.

I am aiming at $1400 tops preferably $1200 range and I need 47"-50". I previously had the Panasonic TH-42PX60U which had AMAZING color and I don't want to be upset if I get something inferior.

Thanks
