Got myself a used 2hp Air compressor from work that does not function properly due to the head releaf valve not releasing the pressure off the piston after it pumps up so if it tries to start when its under load it simply stalls. This is not a big issue as I can just pump it up to 150psi and thats good for a long time.

Anyhow my question is can a compressor run when its in a very cold garage in the winter or will that damage it? My grandfather was shot down during WW2 after doing what was supposed to be a routine scouting mission only to find a fully armed Japanese battle ship that was not know about shoot him down. In 1994 they found what was left of his plane and his body in a very remote part of Indonesia. My Dad was to young to remember his Dad when this happened but remembers being in a concentration camp when he was 4 years old.

We have lost so many loved ones due to war and we must not forget the reasons we fight for peace. My thanks go out to all of you who have or are fighting for this cause.
