| Re: How to connect subs? actually, the speaker that I want to put in the other channel is the speaker with the color red driver. They are 4 ohms. Here is what I was thinking. Looking at the information about the QSC PLX2402, it can drive 2, 4 and 8 ohms in stereo mode. Since those 2 speakers are 4 ohms each, can I combine them together like how my FiCar are connected right now so that those two 4 ohms speakers become 8 ohms? With 8 ohms(in combined setup), each speakers gets around 210watts. http://www.qscaudio.com/products/amps/plx/plx.htm Another question now is, will it be fine for the amp if one channel is driving 4 ohms and then on the other channel, it's driving 8 ohms? Here is the pic. The red speaker driver is the one I want to make as my center. ![]() EDIT: I mean, here is what I would like to try. But I would like to know if it's ok or if it's going to destroy my amp or speakers. ![]() Thanks. Last edited by v1rtu0s1ty; 06-14-08 at 11:00 PM. | |||
