Annoying Javascript errors.

I am a software developer, and as such I have my browser set to tell me about scripting errors on sites, mainly so I can debug sites I develop.

Whenever I try to access one of the threads in a HT Shack forum, I get a rash of "Object expected" JS errors. Clicking OK 5-15 times is a pain in the arse.

Please do not tell me to turn off script debugging, as that would be the same as telling me never to visit your site again. I would appreciate it if you could contact your technical folks and have them fix the problem.

The error seems to occur for each message in the page you are trying to display, and is on each occurence of;

I am using IE v7.

First I have heard of it in almost 3 years and 30,000 members, but I will check into it.

I can tell you that I use to have script debugging turned on and I could hardly surf the web without getting those pesky pop up errors like you are talking about.

You stated that this happens whenever you access "one of the threads"... can you tell me which one... or do you many "any of the threads"?

It is "any thread" and it happens on both my home and office computer.

It happens once for every message that is being displayed.

I loaded the page in my script debugger, and actually provided one of the offending lines in my original post.
