| Someone having trouble registering There is a thread over at Mike Knapp's Home Theater Talk with a post from a person that can't get registered here. I wonder if someone can offer some help or a solution. http://hometheatertalk.com/httalk/vi...=352892#352892 | |||

| | Re: Someone having trouble registering I'm familiar with Mike and I've replied to his emails, but until he gets something besides a Yahoo email address, he'll have problems registering. There's not much we can do about it. It's a fairly noticeable warning at registration, but for some reason it gets ignored ![]() | |||

| Re: Someone having trouble registering AOL has been working well for me, including new posts in a thread notification. Occasionaly with AOL and other mail systems you have to go into the SPAM folder and mark emails that are not SPAM. Then everything works OK. When you constantly delete, without reading, email from a given source, the spam filter will sometimes add that source to the spam list. That's when you need to go into the SPAM folder and undo this automatic SPAM assignment. No big deal. AOL's gotten to be very good at preventing SPAM from going into the new mail folder -- just a little bit overzealous, which can be undone manually. | |||
