Sonnie, is it possible to allow for larger animated avatar's on our profiles I have one that I would love to use but I think the file size is a bit larger than allowed could this be changed?

Animated avatars are reserved for staff and supporting members.

Maximum size on all avatars is 100 pixels wide x 150 high... any larger and those with lower screen resolutions would be screaming at us. We are fairly generous compared to other forums.

1000 Posts Senior Shackster = 150KB (Animated option)
Platinum Supporter = 150KB (Animated option)
Titanium Supporter = 135KB (Animated option)
Gold Supporter = 125KB (Animated option)
All other members = 100KB (No animation option)
