What to set my screen at

I believe you told me in the opening welcome message but it's gone, I have to scroll right to left to read a posting...what do I need to set my screen at to see the full text without scrolling?

Click on 'User CP", select "Edit Options", scroll down to "Thread Display Options", in the "Images In Posts" box select "Resize within the post" and in the "Maximum width" box, type in "800".
