| Home Theater for a Higher Cause Its easy to get wrapped up in our own wants and desires when it comes to home entertainment but I wanted to point out an organization whose primary goal is bringing the sights and sounds of home theater to a very special group of movie lovers. The Elf Foundation is a non-profit charity formed in July 2001 by Doug Weinstein and several other prominent figures in the consumer electronics industry, who set out to make prolonged, repeat hospital stays for sick children a little more tolerable. The foundation relies on donations and industry support for their projects, Elf has competed over 30 such projects and with continued support hopefully many many projects will come to fruition. Kudos to Lutron, Sonance, Runco, XM, Yamaha, Stewart, InFocus, Crestron, Klipsch, THX, Dolby, Sim2 and Da-Lite for lending their corporate sponsorship to this worthy cause.
