|  HD DVD 2.0 firmware to be released on Tuesday  We told you a few weeks ago that TureHD was coming to HD DVD in the form of a firmware update and another tipster has told us to expect to see the 2.0 update available to those with their HD DVD players connected to the Internet on Tuesday. | Re: HD DVD 2.0 firmware to be released on Tuesday So what your saying is you like HDDVD better?  Me too. I finally got to see the BD in action today, let me just say I was extremely unimpressed. Watching an upconverted "UltraViolet" on a 50in rear projection BESIDE a blu-ray version on a BD with a 42 inch plasma nonetheless, the picture was easily equal in most parts, and actually had LESS artifacts! Seriously, a 200$ LG upconverter on a larger screen, compared to a 1.5k "HD" player BEAT it!  | ||||
