Paramount's second wave of Blu-ray titles

Warner isn't the only company that sees the golden money signs that is both HD DVD and Blu-ray, Paramount is set to release a whole slew of Blu-ray titles this fall. September 26 will see HD DVD classics such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Four Brothers, and Sleepy Hollow. Then two weeks later on October 10, U2: Rattle and Hum, Aeon Flux, and The Italian Job. Deets are a bit sketchy right now and we don't know if the are going to forgo the VC-1 codex used on the HD DVD release for the MPEG-2 favorite of Bu-ray, but something tells us that they will.

Universal is staying HD DVD only.
