| Sim2 has announced that it's launching this month a new CinemaScope lens system for its hugely acclaimed C3X 3-chip DLP projector. The anamorphic lens comes from ISCO Precision Optics, and it sits in front of your projector, reshaping the image so that you can watch films in true CinemaScope form. And as the image is optically rather than electronically decompressed, there's no light or quality loss from the projector. The lenses are to be sold as a package with the C3X projector, though they are also available from Sim2 individually for around £4000.
