It is going to be a viscous cycle before too long. With less and less folks having cable and satellite programming, they'll have to raise prices on the ones that are left subscribing. As more folks drop off because of the cost the prices will just get higher and higher.......

Only thing I see coming is that ISPs will start jacking up their prices and decreasing bandwidth caps when they start to see their costs go up for their network access.

There are no free lunches. They'll start finding other ways to get money from us.
True, and with a cable provider, where there is no real competition to work with, we are kinda stuck. I am counting on the majority of users continuing to pay big bucks for their service so the relatively few of us who cut out cable tv will not be bothered with.

Then in 10 years who knows how technology will have changed? Cable providers will not rule forever, they will go the way of KMart and Sears and we will have a whole new set of possibilities to deal with.

Re: Some 5 million people in the US are going the 'Zero TV' route

I have NO T.V.s in my house at all.
my girlfriend just moved in with me .. so now I have to buy her one..
I think i might have made a mistake because she is gettin on my nerves already.

dont have the balls to say .. move back in where u came from and we can still date ...

edit forgot to mention : I do have multiple computers hooked up to the internet.. all with 24inch monitors so entertainment isnt reallllly an issue for her...
but the T.V. is just simpler as far as finding content.. cut it on and surf
