O'scope for amp levels

I need help on locating an O'scope. I don't want to buy one that I will only use for 30 minutes. I just need to borrow one. I need to set the levels in my amps, and the best way is to use an o'scope. I frequently travel to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area if that helps.

Input levels to amps can easily be set using a simple multimeter on AC volts. It measures ACvoltsRMS, which is the standard used in input level specifications. You can use a simple CD recording of a 100Hz tone as a source....

I have used the multimeter method, but this is only good if you know exactly how much your amp is putting out, and if you know what level you can turn your source up to without clipping.

Why not just pick up one on eBay, and then flip it when you’re finished with it?
