You're going to want a multi-filter PEQ regardless, so getting one filter in the amp isn't worth a whole lot. The next brand moving up the price point is probably QSC, but they're arguably the same amp.

Actually, they now have six parametric bands and a high and low shelf filter, and flexible crossover functions. A new Crown XTi 1000 is $450, 500 watts x 2 into 4 Ohms and 1400 watts bridged mono into 4 Ohms. An awesome sub amp any way you look at it.

The Crown XTi 2000 with 800 watts x 2 into 4 Ohms can be had for $544 delivered.

I think I will go with the CROWN!

I just need 3 ou 4 EQ on my DSP1124, so with the CROWN XTI2000 I will be ok not using it...

Thanks !!!

If you are using separates(as opposed to a receiver with no way to insert processing between pre-amp stage and power amplifiers on main channels), it would be most desirable to go with something like the Behringer DCX2496, as it will allow ideal integration of mains to subwoofers, as well as sufficient LF adjustment to adjust for room modes. In addition, if you have very linear main speaker, the DCX has precision tonal adjustment that will allow you to shape the response to your preference.
