Luxman

Well I did a search but had no hits. Any fans of Luxman amps? I have a m-117 that I picked up a wile ago and plan on recapping when I have more time. I really love the warm sound this amp has and it drives my speakers so much better then my poor avr which really did not have much of a chance.

So when a rip into it anything I should look out for? I know about cold soldier joints and what not but is there anything that comes too mind that I may need too look into replacing when I am in there?

Welcome to HTS.

I have no knowledge of your amp but there are a lot of hits when you google "faults m-117 luxman"

Maybe someone else here can help.

Cheers,
Bill

Re: Luxman

I will post some pics when I get a chance. It puts out 200 watts into 8ohms. 550 into 4ohms and 820 into 2ohms.
