| Great service from Samsung Canada I recently have been having issues with my Samsung BDP1400 BluRay player that seems to be a HDMI handshake issue but is intermittent. When watching BluRay movies (doesn't matter what movie) I have intermittent video and audio dropouts My Onkyo displays "No Signal" and the projector goes blue for about 4 seconds and then the video and audio resumes. I swapped out HDMI cables as well as tried a different HDMI input with no change in results. This has been happening even after firmware updates.
I contacted Samsung Canada about this issue yesterday afternoon by phone and again this morning, I received an email from them saying that they will be replacing my unit with a new one and I don't have to send in the one I have until the new one arrives in two weeks or less.
The two different people I spoke to on the phone were very cooperative and helped me out without hesitation. I think customer service with Samsung is very good even though reports have said otherwise. Home theater: Onkyo TXSR805 receiver, Samson Servo 4120 bridged @240wattsX2,
