| Mitsubishi WS-55511 Red Convergence Hello, I have a Mitsubishi WS-55511 and two weeks ago my dog chewed up my remote. After he did this (beit coincedence or??) my red convergence was wayyy off. I bought a new remote and when I went to correct the red convergence the vertical adjusted but the horizontal wont move. I have looked around and heard the single "IC" needs to be replaced, as well as possibly the resistor next to it. I have purchased and am waiting for the IC (Sanyo STK393-110) to arrive any day now. What I'm hoping for here is any help regarding the procedure to make this repair. I was an electrician in the Navy (35 years ago) and while I'm confident in doing most of the work I'm having a pro do all the soldering once I've removed the board, circuit panel, etc.. Any help with the procedure, steps to do this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Larry D. | |||
