| Mitsubishi WS 55805 Blue and Green colors I have a Mitsubishi WS 55805. The last 2 days the color green and blue seem to be separated. It is also bowed slighlty at the top of the screen. Is it to late to be repaired? If so how can I go about fixing it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. | ||||

| Re: Mitsubishi WS 55805 Blue and Green colors Sounds like convergence failure. Read the first 10 posts here: http://www.hometheatershack.com/foru...html#post43725 Note that we have now begun moving vendors to the new pull down option at the top of the forum pages. You will find it between "Shack Shopping" and "Glossary". This will represent a great improvement in the vendor reference database, making it easier than ever to find what you are looking for. Contact me with any suggested entries, category recommendations, or additional information about the vendors that we have. If you are a vendor and want your company listed, there is an option to provide us with the information. | ||||

| Re: Mitsubishi WS 55805 Blue and Green colors do you know anyone in the Montgomery or Bucks county PA that can fix it at a resaonable price. i read all of the posts, but i am not to sure how to check for bad soldering or if the STK? IS BAD. i removed the back panel last night and there was much dust. i removed the dust, but i cannot see how to remove the circuit board. do i access it from the back or front? Thanks in advance for any reply. Joe. | ||||

| Re: Mitsubishi WS 55805 Blue and Green colors If you can't figure out how to remove the board, I would not suggest proceding with a DIY repair. I have posted a request for someone in your area and will let you know if I find someone who we feel will be reputable. | Re: Mitsubishi WS 55805 Blue and Green colors If you read the first 10 posts in the thread for convergence repairs as I suggested above, the 8th one discusses soldering and desoldering and suggests what to use. Again, if you are having this much trouble and you are not willing to use the information provided, you should probably get a professional to complete the repair. If you botch the job it will likely make it even more costly to fix. Note that we have now begun moving vendors to the new pull down option at the top of the forum pages.
