Voice modification program

Hi

Im looking for a program which can change my voice which is coming from my mic plugged into the soundcard. Im looking for something more proffesional, with cool editing posibilities and a lot of effects. Couldn't find anything suitable yet. Tnx for help.

Adobe Audition is my favorite audio software.

What kind of "change" are you looking for?
Are you talking about real time effects?

As far as effects, editing, and overall functionality, I can't recommend Audition enough.

I don't use Audition for anything real time but I can look into it's ability if that's what you need.

What are you looking to use this SW for??

Also, if you haven't checked it out, audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ is a great free program.
Also Reaper http://reaper.fm/ is fantastic.

These are both very powerful and have very professional quality and some amazing features that even Pro Tools doesn't offer. And they are both FREE!

Another vote for audacity, although i must admit I hven't used it yet, soundforge does everything I need it to and I am used to it. Plus I hear audacity will run Vst plugins (there are thousands free on the net)

I also have meased around with reaper a bit and like what it can do, just waiting to put it through its paces with a decent session in the studio. (need some new pre-amps )

I hear that. I'm really starting to itch for a nice boutique pre.
The stock pres on the DPS 24 are nice and transparent so they're a great all around pre but i want something that's gonna double my mic collection. (virtually)

I use Adobe Audition too, its quick and easy to use, but i think ill go for Cubase again coz of VST instruments and good midi support.

I need this voice change program more or less for fun, maybe even to give some cool effect on vocals. Real time is very good but its not necesary. Tnx for the answers guys.

what kind of change? well, pitch/time changes, filters, whatever could make it sound cool, maybe some effect to create a 'god-like' sound or whatever. I also want to record some short track and i need my voice changed :

There are a lot of vst and direct x plug-ins that work in all the pro and semi pro editing software. I have used a vocoder plugin to make me sound like a robot and a demon .
