Re: Post your photography site

Wow psyc! You and your bro are very good photographers.
Were your parents into photography?

Those are some nice car pics. I love that kind of framing where the subject is in macro view and in the background because of the proximity to it.

Thanks for sharing.
My GF dad is gonna love your site.

This pic is awesome. I've seen some bad wedding photography but you turn the bridal party into models on a photo shoot!

Great work

Re: Post your photography site

Hi Matt, thank you for your kind words. That photo is of a machined piece of MDF board painted silver metallic. Pieces of it were used on a commercial set. Before it got cut up, I took some pictures of it with a very wide angle lens. I took 9 photos with each one focused a little farther back, and then I stacked the images in Photoshop and used layer masks so only the sharp parts of each photo show through. After that, I did a little contrast adjustment. Once the main image looked good, I duplicated it three times, rotated the various quadrants, and pasted them together as one big image, equivalent to a 40mb capture. Someday I'll make a big print. It'd be a little to modern for my current decor, though.
