I have been in the market to upgrade my AVR. I have come across EMOTIVA's products and think thats the direction I want to go. I was looking at the UMC-1 Processer and the XPA-5 5 channel AMP. I have heard all kinds of great reviews. Now I have come across a AMP from AUDIOCONTROL. It is the Pantages 5 Channel AMP for just a couple of hundered more. Here's the links for both AMPS.
I think for the price, the Emotiva XPA-5 is unbeatable and it is highly regarded too as a very good multichannel amp. And like the above post is saying, Emotiva is a great company with very good customer service.
I thinking of selling mine,
I want to buy a nice pedal bike so I can ride this year without having a ton of downtime like my canadian tire bike does lol then buy another Emotiva in the cooler months when I stop riding.
WoW! Amazing! This is exactly what I did, I got a nice velocipede for this summer after selling my 805, and I will sell it (my velocipede) for the winter, and with the money I will buy again a cheap Onkyo 805 for heating my home this winter.
I thought long about it, and I found this method to be working very nicely for my accomodation with the seasons. :jump:
That's how you mix pleasure with audio. :jiggy:
Just don't tell too many people about this, or all the refurb amps on the market this summer will be selling like hot cakes. :shh:
Then when winter comes, people will get stock with their velocipedes cause they won't be any more hot amps left, but just cold ones like class D, and we'll be freezing our butts off. :wits-end:
:gah: I'm already anticipating a cold winter, now that the word is out.
