Hi all,
My name is James and I live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England.
I work as a live events technician doing predominantly lighting but with a great interest in AV and sound (obviously as it's the reason I'm here ).
I decided to join after reading some very informative posts and hope to educate myself in the mystical ways of the home theatre enthusiast. Whilst I'm working in a related field I consider myself a relative newcomer and it's both exciting and a bit overwhelming. So what do I have:
Video Gear
Sound Gear
It's a relatively modest list as I'm only just starting out but I do enjoy watching / listening to it. In the future I hope to improve upon the equipment I own and improve my ability to get the most out of it. My next purchase (and related forum post) will be rear / surround speakers and eventually I would like to improve my left, centre and right setup.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from anyone willing to comment.
Regards,
Darker than Black.
NB: Darker than Black came about because its my favourite anime and working in lighting it seemed ironic and appropriate
