Re: Django Unchained - Blu-ray Review

Thanks for the review Mike. I just watched this over the weekend and absolutely loved it! I totally agree that if you are a Tarantino fan you will love this movie.
I had read that Tarantino originally wanted Will Smith for the role of Django (but he turned it down because he felt it was not the lead role...) and after seeing the film I just cant picture him playing the part. Jaimie Foxx was great but Christoph Waltz was amazing.

Gorgeous Blu! 35mm anamorphic cinematography at its finest! Very happy with it myself!

I really enjoyed this movie when I saw it in the theaters and I plan on watching the BD tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to the audio after reading this review!

Re: Django Unchained - Blu-ray Review

I finally got around to watching this over the weekend and my wife and I loved it. The violence toward the end was a bit much for her but we loved the dialogue and cinematography. Waltz, Jackson and DiCaprio were fantastic. I'll definitely be buying this to add to my collection!

Re: Django Unchained - Blu-ray Review

This movie is amazing I would rate it 93/100. Acting is flawless, great audio, another legendary Quentin Tarantino film. Thankfully not as bloody as some of his other movies but a very powerful film.
