Thanks for the review Mike. This one is a buy for me as well and thanks for the heads up on getting the extended version. I enjoy the X-Men movies and fully expect to enjoy this one as well.

I Just watched it - and really enjoyed it! - I liked all the Japanese culture thrown in. Must have been a huge hit over there too.

Re: The Wolverine - Blu-ray Review

Greetings,

Nice review Mike.

I agree as well that the Extended Edition (including 3D) is the one to pick up.

Regards,

Re: The Wolverine - Blu-ray Review

I just watched this. The video and audio quality were great, and I thought this was a much better outing than Origins or X2/X3.

Spoiler
I'm curious about what was in Logan's bodyguard's case at the ending airport departure scene. My guess is it wasn't her PJ's and toothbrush, but something he may want/need in the next installment. Maybe his adamantium claws?

I enjoyed this one too, glad a read a review before hand regarding the extended cut only in 2D on the 3D set, so i watched that version first. I plan on watching the theatrical 3D version sometime during the holidays to see the differences. I really enjoyed the ninja/village scene.

Re: The Wolverine - Blu-ray Review

I watched it last week and enjoyed this one better than the previous Wolverine flick. The soundtrack is pretty good as well.

Watched 'The Wolverine' two nights ago and enjoyed it through and through. It's everything I've always wanted the X-Men/Wolverine movies to be but they never were.

I think all the X-Men movies, possibly except 'First Class', were geared too much towards kids and teenagers. I prefer the Batman and Iron Man (maybe not I.M.2&3 as much) trilogy's and 'The Man Of Steel' movie because of their darker, more adult tones and that's exactly what I feel makes 'The Wolverine' a winner.

Very enjoyable.
