Yes, a lot of effort went into the design and fabrication process. They sound remarkable. What's cool is that they can be stacked in multiples. One could have wall to wall bass if necessary. I'm thinking auditorium.

With EQ, I'm running flat to 20 hz.

What an incredible amount of detail work. I don't even want to know how much they weigh.

 

They're quite heavy. I imagine that each segment weights about 600 lbs. That means the combined weight is 1200 lbs. Good thing my floor joists are 3x12s

Can you provide some details about the HF horn? Did you design it? What driver are you using? Much obliged.

The high frequency horn is paper mâché. I have devoted an entire page to its fabrication.

 

The compression driver I'm using on the paper horns are the Tad 2001, though I prefer the 2002s. Unfortunately, 2002s are quite expensive.

JBL make excellent drivers too. The 2446 sounds powerful, though not as detailed as the Tads.

I have been through your builds a number of times from your website. Great to have you here and posting pictures and info about your great projects. Always liked the 100hz you designed. Just was to big for me. I am still looking at building a smaller design that will be roughly 100hz but only 40liter design.
