Ok, so I gotta ask - clean clothes from the dryer waiting to be hung/folded or dirty clothes waiting to be washed? Just having fun, no harm intended.

Hehe! Clean clothes, dude, clean! When I had the PB12 right behind that couch is was the designated drop point for clean clothes. Now the couch has been 'promoted'.

Looking good! Have you really unleashed them yet? What does the wifey think of the silos??

I have to stop reading build threads...I can't stand the wait. Only a few days to go...

Re: My SS RL-p15 build

I haven't REALLY got to unleash them yet, no. The stuff I've seen sounds awesome, though. They seem to do anything at any volume with ease.

The wife and me just commented on them (we were cleaning up after the rear speaker install) that they didn't look very big anymore. Me: "The more I look at them the more I don't mind the size. They don't really look THAT big any more". The wife: "I don't think they look big at all. They just sit there in the corner. It's not like we used that space for anything anyway. You've ruined me!" Who am I to argue?

Re: My SS RL-p15 build

EXACTLY! I always find it funny when some people talk about LLT being a ridiculous concept because nobody has room for such subs. Then I see a picture of their room with giant patches of carpet open, floor to ceiling, not being used for anything. Then they go on and on about style, interior decorating, 'clean' concept, etc. - this ain't a bake sale ladies, it's home theater subwoofers. Those people are more afraid of their significant other than they are interested in improved peformance if you ask me, and I find their obsession with interior decorating a bit.....Richard Simmons-ish That said, there are some people who truely don't have the space, and I can't knock them for it.

Once you get some kind of fabric sock or carpet over the tube, they will become even less noticable.

Right on, Brotha!

She sat with a stupid grin on her face when the glazier collapsed in 'Happy Feet'. We didn't even play it very loud. The Sisters just deliver without breking a sweat. I don't think I've been over 5mm of excursion yet, from looking at the drivers when playing. The things hardly move, and my couch is shaking. Gotta love that!

Looks good Maverick! Can you tell that the bass is coming from right behind you, or is it fairly spread out? I guess when you live with something every day you totally get used to the size.

Oh, and Nick, I like your smaller sealed enclosure too. I can see it being much easier to live with.

Re: My SS RL-p15 build

Thanks!

I can't tell they are behind me at all. After 2 minutes I completely forget they are there. They are totally integrated. Even the wife don't think they are too big now. Maybe I should have gone for those 18"s after all? Really, I see no need whatsoever for more headroom. They never break a sweat, even at tremendous output. Totally effortless. I love them!

Re: My SS RL-p15 build

Ok, it's been a while.

I got the wife an embroidery machine for her birthday, so now I can get the SS logo on the cloth, fnally. I'm currently redecorating my theater with blackout curtains and stuff, so it's a bit of a mess anyway.
