Request of member's who are painting their screen

If at all possible I'd like a small sample of your paint mix for testing purposes. Something 1 inch square would be great! Just put a post here or pm me if you can help me out. I'd really like some more True Value and Sherwin Williams samples to check store variances. If you can help me out, I'd appreciate it!

These are the samples I got from Harpmaker (Thanks again Harp!!) and the smaller one is perfect - it's about 1"X1".

Thanks!

You're welcome again mech!

In case anyone is curious I'll identify the samples in the first post. The large sample and the small sample on the right are from my test panel of Silver Fire. The small sample on the left is Zductive's Silver Fire. I'll be doing some testing to see if I can mimic Z's SF by changing spraying technique alone.

Something that came to mind that would effect the overall color of a paint is how well it is mixed, and this varies greatly from store to store. My local True Value store has shakers that mimic the motion of a person holding a can like it is a drinking glass and simply rotating your wrist back and forth. Even though the paint was mixed for 2 or 3 minutes, when I opened the can I saw a penny-sized spot of tint on underside of the lid! If it's on the lid it's not in the mix! The shaker at my Ace Hardware adds a rotary motion when shaking and seems to do a much better job.

Tex,

Pm me if you decide upon one of these four:

True Value Winter Mountain
True Value Winter Mist
Sherwin Williams Gray Screen
Sherwin Williams Soothing White

Those are the four that I'm using (the only ones I've purchased).

Thanks!
