Very good episode. As I am not an audiophile, made easy to understand the review of the Aperion line.

Wasn't really interested in Vantage Point so thank you for confirming my fears.

Really really looking foward to your reviews of the new Popcorn Hour products.

What really had me in this episode though was the Pixies review. I knew their of their songs, I just didn't know it was them that did Here Comes Your Man and my favorite of theirs, Monkey Gone to Heaven. I think I'm going to have to pick this up pretty soon.

Thanks for starting this thread for me, it totally slipped my mind (been getting killed at work lately, first-year students are back). I'm also glad you appreciate the Aperion review (hopefully you caught the interview last week). They seem like really great guys, and their speakers sounded good. It's going to take consumer-first companies like them to get everyone into our little Home Theater cult

As for the Pixies, I'll be covering Kim Deal and Frank Black in the next 2 shows. Stay tuned.

Great show and this is jason with the 805. I bought a 7.00 dollar fan at target to put behind the 805 and this works wonders. the receiver does not get to hot now. The next thing i will do is find a fan that does not sound like a jet plane.

A man after my own heart, I love a good $7 solution.

Consider some 200mm Computer fans. The target one is likely designed, if at all, for maximum airflow. The Computer ones balance airflow with silence (might need some creative power options though).
