That's cool to hear Redbox will have BD, but has anybody actually tried to rent from one?
I've tried at a couple of stores several times and they never have what I want.
Now if Blockbuster priced their BD's at $1, I might get a player once they hit the $100 point.

Like I said, my parents use it often. When you say they don't have what you want, do you mean the title isn't offered, or it is offered, but it's out of stock? You should go to redbox.com and set-up an account. From there, you can see what titles are available where, and reserve a copy for yourself so you don't get to the redbox only to find that they are out.

Thank you. I like to think of it as a "teaching a person to fish..." scenario as much as anything. Being honest about your real needs, and not getting caught up in the hype can save you a lot of money (or at least give you more money to spend on other things).
