I don't think we need video, just because we can. If the subject warrants it (Connectors, Acoustic Panels, HTPC Build, Etc.) then video would be helpful. If it doesn't enhance the content and the show is shorter, why bother?

Yep, I hear what you're saying. Some folks prefer the talking head. But, I myself probably watch stuff, like Geekbrief, that I wouldn't if it were audio only.

Hey Eugovector, I like the real world attitude you provide for your podcasts. I haven't missed one yet and enjoy them all. For future podcast, I would like to see you continue with finding frugal ways of improving ones home theater and using/purchasing ht equipment that is affordable to us common folk.

You might reserve video for "specials", and just do regular audio only podcasts. Video takes SOO much more effort that it could squash your ability to do regular podcasts at all. We like regular shows, and frankly I can't watch my video iPod while driving anyway.

I agree completely. I love the podcast, I listen to it while I work my regular job as an animator. Helps pass the day, and I learn something every time. Video is great, as I really enjoyed the Home Theater PC video that was posted, but I would leave it as special tutorials such as that for video, and stick with the longer audio podcast.

I have a video unboxing of the popcorn hour and a brand new episode sitting on a thumb drive in front of me right now. I need to shoot out a couple work emails to pay the bills, and then they're getting posted. You should see them in a couple hours, if I can keep my eyes open.
