Brucek said that I will have to get an external sound card. I would like to hear from people that have used a MacBook Pro and REW. Did you have to use an external sound card since the MacBook Pro has optical/digital input and output. Please provide a detailed explanation on what you used and the connections. Thank you.

Re: MacBook Pro

Those MacBook Pro mini-jacks can act as either digital or analog inputs and outputs, you should have no problem using the built-in audio connections.

Re: MacBook Pro

Thanks for the reply. I was getting it to calibrate, but I was not able to get any tones to my AVR. I did a search and found some posts from John M that let me know that the MacBook Pro's internal sound card would work. After that I found that one of the cables that I was using was bad. Switched out the cable and I have it working, though it is telling me that my levels are too low. I matched the levels, but part of the time (not every time) it said the levels were too low. The graph showed a nice flat response down to about 17 hz before it dropped off.
