Calibrating a soundcard with REW v3.29

Hi!

I have a problem when I try to calibrate my M-Audio Mobile Pre with REW (v3.29).

I bypass the line in with the output I am using and this happens.


I feel a bit odd because everything's ok,
-I connect line in with the "left" (for example) output
-I select "left" on the REW
-I press "Measure Souncard Response" in the Soundcard menu
this just should not happen...

What could be the problem?

Tell us about the ports you're using on the M-Audio box and the terminations on the loopback cable you're using.

(you do realize that REW is now up to version 4.11?)

I'm using the 1/L (left) output port and the ch2 inst/line input port.

The loopback cable is just a double-terminated jack mono cable. Pic

Doesn't ch2 correspond to the Right input? If so you need to select the R input on REW.

So you're feeding the CH2 line input (which is a balanced 1/4" TRS jack) from 1/L line out (which is an unbalanced 1/4" TS jack) ?

What terminations are on the cable ends?
