HELP! REW won't install

Everytime I try and install REW, I get an message saying the following:

"Your Java VM needs to be upgraded before this program can be run"

I've upgraded to the most recent form of Java, Version 6 update 5 (build 1.6.0_05-b13).

REW still won't install. I tried it on 2 different computers, getting the same error message. Can anybody help with the installation? What am I doing wrong?

If you open a command window and type in java -version what does it show?

it shows version 1.6.0_05

Very strange. A workaround is to download the zipped jar files, extract them to a convenient location and double-click the roomeqwizard jar file to run REW.

I see Jar files for Linux and Mac. I am running Windows. It's strange that I am getting the same error on 2 different computers, one running XP and other running Vista.

Use the Linux jar files. They are the same files that the windows installer contains without the install wrapper.

The jar files worked! Thanks a lot. I assume there is something wrong with the Windows installer since I had the same problem on 2 computers.
