Finally ... I'm using REW!!!

I just started using REW to measure my room frequency response; but I made a small mistake ... I didn't check the C weigh box on the setup neither I downloaded the RS.cal file to compensate the results ...

I downloaded the file this morning, but I think it will not change the results I got yesterday, Right??? ... so my reading are not correct, Right???

Here is a couple of graphs; firts the sound card calibration; then the final setups (used YPAO to autocalibrate and then some tweeking to adjust to my taste) ... first is YPAO flat, second YPAO natural and finally the comparison ... please tell me What's next...

Load the RS meter cal file then select each measurement in turn and click the IR windows button at the top right of the toolbar and hit "Apply Windows", the selected response will then be recalculated but this time with the RS meter cal included.

Maybe scale the graph to 45-105 dB?

Re: Finally ... I'm using REW!!!

Perhaps you could also post the graphs on this site so they're readable.........

Here's a post telling you how to do that...

And certainly change your vertical axis to 45dB-105dB.

Re: Finally ... I'm using REW!!!

Thank you for your suggestions ... with all this learning, changing here and there ... I completely forgot to change the settings to post a graph

Here you go ... I used YPAO autocalibration and made some changes to start, first graph is YPAO FLAT, second is YPAO NATURAL and third is the comparison of both graphs

I'm sure I have to do a lot of changes, Right???

Your graphs are posted in linear mode instead of logarithmic mode.

Press the Freq Axis button to switch to LOG. Makes a huge difference in how your graphs look.

I hope I did it right this time ... Is this okay, or Do I need to improve the response (if i need to do it, I will need a BFD; I played with my receiver EQ but this is the best I can do ... maybe I'll keep trying ... ...

Re: Finally ... I'm using REW!!!

I have one of those dips in the crossover region as well.
I am hoping once I get the room setup right and a BFD I can get it smoothed out.
