| MIDI Frustration OK, This is really frustrating. First I bought an M-Audio USB to MIDI adapter and had no luck transferring REW files to the BFD Pro. I then bought the Edirol UM and still had no luck making the transfer. I've checked and rechecked all the settings as described in the manual. The lights flash while downloading (once I swapped the in and out MIDI cables from what was suggested by Edirol) but no settings are stored--and yes,I even hit the "store" button on the BFD. The MIDI transfer simply does not work. Before I send the Edirol back, anyone have any suggestions? Could there be a step missing in the manual? After reading through some other posts about the same problem I'm experiencing I'm beginning to wonder if Behringer made changes the developers of REW are not aware of. | | Re: MIDI Frustration Hey Phillip, I believe the REW instructions are correct as it has worked for a recent BFD. You can download the latest manual from Behringer, if it's not there you can email Behringer support and they will verify the steps for you, they are very helpful and respond pretty fast. I use the Edirol with no problems. If you are getting the flashing Store lights I'm thinking you have the connections right. You may have a bum BFD. | |||
