| Decisions ... Decisions ... Decisions ... Like any other HT addict ... I been playing with REW; I changed the position of the Mic to run REW and tweek to get the best general response (this is What I got, just behind the front center seat) ![]() Then, I measured in every seat (as close as possible when seated) ... now, I have to choose front center seat for best audio (10' from TV) or rear center for best picture (15', but 1' from back wall) and optimize FR ... Front Right Seat ![]() Front Center Seat ![]() Front Left Seat ![]() Rear Right Seat ![]() Rear Center Seat ![]() Rear Left Seat ![]() Sorry for the long post ... I need your opinions on What to do ![]() P.S.: I know the graph are not the standar (15-200 and 45-105) ... but I want to show a wider response. Just in case here is the correct graph ![]() ![]() | ||||

| Re: Decisions ... Decisions ... Decisions ... Have two programs in the BFD. One for optimum critical listening and one for general seating. Place all the measures on the Averaging tab and press the Average button and create filters for the new averaged response graph. brucek | ||||

| Re: Decisions ... Decisions ... Decisions ... Hello Salvasol, what level of smoothing is on the graphs you posted? If possible could you post graphs with no smoothing and with one octave smoothing. I always find these interesting. With the usual 45-105db setting and out to 1000hz though. Thanks, Bob | ||||

![]() I dont have a BFD ... not yet ![]() After I posted, I realized/remembered that I have six memories on my receiver ... so what I did is to save one for the front seat (just in case) and one for my sweet spot (rear seat) ![]() This graph is for the front seat memory set up... ![]() This is for my sweet spot set up... ![]() And this is the response in the front seat using the sweet spot memory ... ![]() What do you think??? ... by the way, I'm using 1/3 octave smoothering ![]() | |||||
