why not use the USB soundblaster digital out connection?

Just curious, Im connection Analog Right/Left channels to my AUX in right now just wondering what the problem is with using the digital connection instead?

How would you propose to calibrate the digital line-out and the analog line-in to create a soundcard calibration file?
