| can't select input nor output with Presonus Inspire (Firewire) + MacBook I can't get my soundcard calibrated, and I think that reason is that I can't select right input/output. Only options are "default", and with these I get error message "Impulse peak is not where it should be...", and the graph is not what is should be. My soundcard is Presonus Inspire 1394, I'm using Macbook with Leopard. I've tried to use both 44.1kHz and 48kHz, and all kinds of different approaches, but nothing seems to work. Any idea what I should do (except buying a new soundcard)? Same card worked with my old XP-machine, although I remember that I had similar problems with it too. | ||||

| Re: can't select input nor output with Presonus Inspire (Firewire) + MacBook Apple's Java implementation does not seem to make 1394-connected soundcard inputs available to Java applications, even when you have set them as the defaults in the sound preferences. You can use either the built-in audio input or a USB-connected soundcard. | ||||
